Senior Director of Development
Connie has been in fundraising for higher education institutions for nearly fifteen years including six years at New Mexico State University and nine at the University of Houston. Her roles at UH include six years at the Graduate College of Social Work, nearly two years for the College of Nursing and now since October 2018 as Senior Director of Development at the College of Medicine.
Prior to working in higher education, Connie’s career included more than 20 years in non-profit management and fundraising. Her baccalaureate is from the University of North Texas and her masters is from New Mexico State University
Taylor First joined the University of Houston in April 2019 as Development Coordinator 2 for the College of Medicine. Taylor works to support the UHCOM Development team reach fundraising goals by prospecting and researching prospective donors, implementing and executing stewardship and cultivation plans, planning donor events and supporting the BoV UHCOM Task Force.
Prior to working at UH, Taylor worked in K-12 education in Development and Events for 7 years. Taylor currently volunteers for the International Collegiate Programming Competition on the Ceremonies Staff team and owns Lucky Number Equine, LLC.
Taylor earned a B.A. in Public Relations from Baylor University and holds a CMP certification.
