Stephanie Johnson

Director of Development

Stephanie Johnson joined the University of Houston in February 2016 as Development Coordinator to the AVC/AVP for University Advancement and soon thereafter as Associate Director of Development for the UH Law Center in special gifts before becoming Director of Development in major gifts for the law school. Johnson has over 7 years of experience in higher education and development. Prior to joining the University of Houston, she held various fundraising roles at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business and the School of Law.
At the University of Houston Law Center, Johnson collaborates with alumni, firms and stakeholders to secure gifts at the $25,000 level and higher for top funding priorities for legal education.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Political Science from Baylor University and is currently pursuing a C.F.R.E certification.

Rachel Wardzinski - Director of Development, UH Law Center

Rachel Wardzinski

Director of Development

Rachel Wardzinski joined the University of Houston in June 2019 as a development officer for the University of Houston Law Center. She previously held advancement positions at Houston Grand Opera and The Nature Conservancy. Prior to her career in development, Ms. Wardzinski worked in international business development with the British Consulate-General, Houston.
At the Law Center, Wardzinski works with individual donors in their philanthropy towards operating and programmatic support of the Law Center as well as scholarships and the new law building.
Wardzinski earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO, and Madrid, Spain.
