Get involved with student philanthropy at the University of Houston!
Student Philanthropy at the University of Houston is a program that gives students a better understanding of the role philanthropy plays at the university. It is intended to educate, engage and excite current Coogs about the importance of supporting UH after we graduate.
Our goal is to build a culture of philanthropy on campus so that we may continue to support UH as young alumni and into the future. By educating and engaging current students from freshman to senior year, students will leave UH with a better understanding of the importance and impact of giving back.
Alumni participation plays a major role in ensuring the University of Houston’s success. Why is your participation – your donation – important? You help by:
- Directly impacting where the University of Houston falls in the U.S. News & World Report rankings;
- Influencing gifts from corporations and foundations, which consider alumni giving rates when determining their own support; and
- Showing your confidence in the role UH has had on your education.
As our thank you, you will receive a Cougar Spirit Cord to wear at commencement to show your Cougar Pride.
