Shailee Modi (’21)
Biology Major, College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, The Honors College
Shailee Modi is a senior majoring in Biology with minors in Medicine and Society and Leadership Studies. She is a member of the Honors College and a recipient of the Tier One Scholarship. She has conducted research through the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship, worked with physicians through the Academic Associates Program, and studied abroad in the Galapagos Islands to learn more about conservation biology. On campus, she has served as goalkeeper of the UH Division I Women’s Soccer team, Senior Intern and Mentor in the Bonner Leaders Program, an Ambassador for the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and as an Advancement Ambassador. In the future, she plans to attend medical school and help make a difference in the world. She is excited about working with alumni, faculty, and current students to further the mission of the university.
