ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, UNIVERSITY DEVELOPMENT
Mark Putnam is Assistant Vice President for Development. In this role he manages a number of centrally based Development offices, including Corporate & Foundation Relations, Annual Giving, Gift Planning, as well as the Development office of Houston Public Media. Mark joined the University Houston in 2005 as a Development Officer for the College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics. Much of his time at UH has been as a member and leader of the Corporate & Foundation Relations team. Prior to joining UH, Mark was Assistant Director for Major Gifts at the University of St. Thomas, where he focused on working with corporate and foundation donors. Mark is a native Houstonian and resides in northwest Harris County with his wife, Danielle, and their three children.
Amy Healy started as a contractor within the advancement department in June 4, 2019. On December 9, 2019 she was joined the University of Houston as an administrative assistant to the development and corporate and foundation relations team.
Previous to the University of Houston, Amy worked in the aviation industry as an senior administrative assistant on the software engineering team.
She earned an office administration/executive level diploma from the College of the North Atlantic in Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada.
